Improve access
MnDOT will improve access and safety at the north junction of Hwy 27 and Hwy 169 with a new roundabout. The project is currently in the design phase and is scheduled for construction in 2026.

Summary of work
- Install a roundabout at the Hwy 27 and Hwy 169 intersection
- Reconstruct adjacent entrances:
- Realign Co. Rd. 35 (Twilight Rd.) to/from westbound Hwy 27
- Install center concrete median with 3/4 accesses to/from Hwy 169
- Install pedestrian crosswalks and approaches
Future impacts
- Hwy 169: Lane closures, lane shifts, narrow lanes; traffic will shift to either side of work zone as built
- Hwy 27: Access closed at Hwy 169
- Local: Access will be maintained; however, expect changes and use of alternate entrances, follow signs
