Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC)
Located in the Waters Edge Building in Roseville, the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) is where State Patrol, MnDOT Maintenance, and MnDOT Freeway Operations work together to quickly detect, respond to and remove incidents off of our freeway systems. This work is essential to maximize the efficiency of our roads.
Our Freeway Incident Response Safety Team (FIRST) coordinates with the RTMC to help minimize congestion and prevent secondary crashes by quickly responding to and removing incidents from our freeways.
511 traveler information is also a RTMC service. 511 provides you with real-time, accurate information about current road conditions.
