Highway 169 reduced to single lane through Shakopee beginning July 10

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Segments of northbound Highway 169 through Shakopee will be reduced to one lane beginning 12:01 a.m. Monday, July 10, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Crews are working on drains between Old Brick Yard Road/County Road 69 and Canterbury Road/Mystic Lake Drive/County Road 83.

The 24-hour-a-day closures will occur in up to two-mile segments. The work in the northbound lanes will last up to 15 days, then shifts to southbound lanes. Segments of the southbound lanes will then be reduced to one lane for up to 15 days.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
