Westbound Interstate 94 to close near Rothsay at 9:30 a.m. for emergency repairs
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (8:15 a.m.)— The Minnesota Department of Transportation will temporarily close westbound Interstate 94, between Exits 50 and 38 east of Rothsay, today, Thursday, Aug. 17, at 9:30 a.m. for emergency repairs to the shoulder. Traffic should follow signed interstate alternate route.
A pavement repair project is currently taking place in this location. Crews are replacing concrete panels near mile markers 41 and 42. When I-94 reopens, at approximately 5 p.m., it will be reduced to one lane in this area.
