Minnesota Boulevard opens in St. Cloud Friday, Sept. 8

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is excited to announce Minnesota Boulevard/Highway 301 will open to all travelers in St. Cloud by 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8.

The five-month detour between 15th Avenue SE/Sherburne County Road 8 and Highway 10 was necessary to reconstruct the road surface, update underground storm sewers and roadside drainage, and restore the historic retaining wall along the north side of Highway 301 at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud.

Minnesota Paving and Materials (OMG Midwest) is the prime contractor for the $4 million project that provides a smoother road surface, improved drainage and preserves a historic structure for decades to come. Learn more about Historic Roadside Properties along Minnesota Highways online.
