Weekend closure of northbound I-35W in Minneapolis and Roseville begins Oct. 13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Starting at 10 p.m. Fri., Oct. 13 through 5 a.m. Mon., Oct. 16, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will close northbound Interstate I-35W between the 26th Street overpass in Minneapolis and Highway 280 in Roseville. Construction crews need this closure to make bridge repairs, repair pavement, remove graffiti, and repair guardrails.
While this road closure is in place, motorists can use eastbound I-94 to northbound Highway 280 as a detour route.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slowdown in work zones where workers are present.
