Environmental Assessment released for the Hwy 11 improvement project between Roseau and Warroad
BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to review the environmental assessment for the Highway 11 improvement project between Roseau and Warroad. The proposed project includes resurfacing between 17th Avenue Northeast in Roseau and Highway 313 in Warroad, realignment of 1.3 miles of Highway 11 south of the Roseau Municipal Airport and widening Highway 11 between 550th Avenue and 570th Avenue to a three-lane section.
The public comment period is open for 30 days, from Oct. 24 to Nov. 27, 2023 to review and make comments on the EA/EAW.
The Environmental Assessment/Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA/EAW) document states the purpose and need of the project along with the anticipated social, economic, and environmental impacts. The document is available on the project website at www.mndot.gov/d2/projects/hwy11-roseau_warroad.
Copies of the EA/EAW are available upon request in alternative formats to individuals with disabilities. The documents are also available for public viewing during business hours at the following locations:
