Temporary detour of Hwy 9 in Morris today, Oct. 23
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—Motorists will encounter a temporary detour of Highway 9 in Morris today, Monday, Oct. 23, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Maintenance crews are on-site at the location of last week’s storm sewer collapse to repave the roadway.
Traffic is being detoured to 10th Street East, Columbia Avenue and Highway 28. The work is expected to be completed by Monday afternoon.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
