Overnight closures on Hwy 169 in New Hope/Plymouth begin November 2

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will close Highway 169 overnight in both directions in New Hope/Plymouth. These overnight closures, which will remain in place through 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, are necessary so construction crews can remove traffic barriers and begin restriping the road.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 through 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, MnDOT crews will close southbound Hwy 169 between I-94 and 36th Ave. from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. nightly. Crews will also close northbound Hwy 169 between I-394 and 49th Ave. during the same time.
Motorists can use I-94, Interstate 494 and I-394 as detour routes during these overnight closures.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slowdown in work zones where workers are present.
