MnDOT to host public meeting for Hwy 48 corridor study in Hinckley

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 4:30 p.m. in the Hinckley City Hall Community Room, 106 1st St. SE, to discuss the Hwy 48 corridor study through Hinckley. This study is looking at the Hwy 48 section from the I-35 ramps to Government Road.

Project staff will give a brief background on the corridor and gather any feedback the public has on traffic and pedestrian flow, intersections, safety or other concerns along the corridor. There is no project planned for this corridor at the time; this is a study to gather feedback on how the corridor works and what improvements could be made in the future.
For those unable to attend in person, a recorded presentation will be posted to the project website at mndot.gov/d1/projects/hwy48-hinckley/.
