Highway 5 detour in Arlington begins June 9 for storm sewer improvements

MANKATO, Minn. – Motorists are advised that a portion of Highway 5 near West Chandler Street in Arlington will be closed beginning June 9, while the City of Arlington makes improvements to their utilities and storm sewer.

Highway 5 will be detoured to Main Street (CSAH 34) and 4th Avenue Northeast (CSAH 17).

The detour is expected for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
