Ramp closure Garfield Avenue to I-535 Blatnik Bridge

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close the Wisconsin bound on-ramp from Garfield Avenue to the I-535 Blatnik Bridge beginning Wednesday, June 11, at 6 a.m. Garfield Avenue and the Minnesota bound exit ramp from I-535 to Garfield Avenue will remain open. On Friday, June 20, at 12 p.m., the ramp will temporarily reopen for the weekend and will close again at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. This closure is needed to improve construction access and construction worker safety during the completion of the Garfield interchange. The ramp will reopen later this year.
