MnDOT invites the public to learn about 2026 construction on Highway 51/Snelling Avenue in Roseville, Arden Hills
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to learn about repairs and resurfacing of Highway 51/Snelling Avenue between Highway 36 in Roseville and Grey Fox Road in Arden Hills next year. Residents, commuters and business owners are invited to stop at their convenience between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 at Centennial United Methodist Church, 1524 County Road C2 W, Roseville, Minn.
MnDOT staff will be on hand to explain the project and answer questions including community and traffic impacts, overall design and proposed construction schedule. There will not be a formal presentation.
Beginning In the spring of 2026, MnDOT will repair and resurface Snelling Avenue between Highway 36 in Roseville and Grey Fox Road in Arden Hills to provide better ride quality and service life to the pavement and to improve safety. This project will also add connectivity with a new trail section providing access between Lydia Ave. and Snelling Ave. North. This work is necessary to maintain the highway system and to make accessibility improvements.
