Corrugated polyethylene dual wall type pipe is abbreviated as "CP" in MnDOT specifications. Corregated polyethylene is also commonly referred to as "HDPE" pipe. Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE) manufacturing facilities are required to be reviewed and in compliance with AASHTO's National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) for producers of HDPE thermoplastic pipe.
