MnDOT seeks feedback on Highway 16/Highway 63 Spring Valley improvements
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Highway 16/Highway 63 in Spring Valley will undergo reconstruction and sidewalk improvements in 2029, and MnDOT is seeking feedback from community members, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 16/Highway 63 will be removed and replaced with new materials from Tracy Road to Griswold Street. Portions of Highway 63 from the Highway 16 intersection to Fillmore County Road 12 will receive sidewalk improvements and drainage work. The reconstruction on Highway 16/Highway 63 will also undergo pedestrian facility improvements.

MnDOT is seeking feedback through this survey, where the public can share thoughts on the project design. The project team is aware of several areas of concern. This includes safety concerns, mobility and drainage issues. Community input will help the team better understand community concerns and priorities.
