MnDOT to host April 16 open house for Highway 23 Green Valley bridge project
WILLMAR, Minn. – The Minnesota  Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an in-person  construction open house on Wednesday, April 16, to learn about the upcoming  Highway 23 bridge project near Green Valley. The open house will be held from  4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall–Lyon County Public Library, 201 C Street,  Marshall.
        
MnDOT and construction staff will be  available to answer questions and provide details about the construction  phasing of the project. There will not be a formal presentation, folks are  welcome to stop by at their convenience.
      
Information about the upcoming 2025-26 Highway 19 reconstruction project in Marshall will also be available at the open house and project staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Project  summary
        The  Highway 23 bridge project includes resurfacing the two bridge decks that span  the Redwood River and Threemile Creek near Green Valley, north of Marshall.  Crews will also replace approach panels and guardrails at the bridge sites. The  apparent low bidder is PCiRoads, LLC, and the approximate cost is $1.5 million.
