MnDOT to host May 20 public open house for future Hwy 10 reconstruction project in Dilworth

DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation, in partnership with the city of Dilworth, invite the public to an open house on Tuesday, May 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., to learn more about the future Highway 10 project. The open house will be held at the DGF Elementary School, located at 108 Main St. N., Dilworth.
There will be no formal presentation. The public is invited to stop in at their convenience between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Project staff will be available to provide information about the overall project, current preliminary design alternatives, projected timeline, and to answer questions.

The Highway 10 project is scheduled for construction in 2031 and 2032. The two-mile project, from 34th Street to 14th Street East, includes street reconstruction, drainage and utility improvements, sidewalk and trail upgrades for improved pedestrian and bicycle access and safety, and intersection improvements.
