Sherburne County improves access at Co. Rd. 65 and Hwy 10

Expect lane closures and changes to access east of St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Minn. –Travelers can expect lane closures and changes to access along Hwy 10 as Sherburne County realigns access to County Road 65 near New Haven, east of St. Cloud, reports the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Here’s what to expect Aug. 4 through October 10:

Hwy 10: Single-lane closures between 32nd Street SE and 52nd Street SE with reduced speeds. Work will occur each week from 7 p.m. Sunday to noon Friday.
Hwy 10 access to/from Sherburne County Road 65 (42nd Street SE) closed: Detour uses County Road 8 SE, County Road 16 (57th Street SE), County Road 7 (45th Avenue SE) and County Road 60 (60th Street SE). Check 511mn.org for detour map.

Sherburne County, in partnership with MnDOT and BNSF, will improve access and safety along Hwy 10 east of St. Cloud through Haven Township. Crews will realign and reconstruct the intersections at Hwy 10 and County Road 65 and County Road 7 with a J-turn design. The project also includes a new railroad crossing and updated pedestrian access and approaches.
