Dec. 10 public meeting set for Highway 30 resurfacing project in Rochester and High Forest Township

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, Dec. 10, to learn more about an upcoming construction project on Highway 30 in Rochester and High Forest Township, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The meeting will be held in-person 4-6 p.m. at the Operating Engineers Local 49, 1765 Highway 30, Rochester, MN. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the planned work, learn more about the construction and ask questions.

The construction is planned for summer 2026. Work includes resurfacing Highway 30 from east of 44th Avenue SW to Highway 63, replacing the Willow Creek culvert, repairing several other culverts and making other drainage improvements. A detour will route vehicles around the Willow Creek culvert for approximately one month.
