After studying the Hwy 169 corridor through Chisholm, MnDOT has determined recommended concepts that will enhance the safety of road users, improve pedestrian and bicyclist access on both sides of the highway and facilitate efficient movement through the corridor to evaluate the existing corridor.
MnDOT conducted a corridor study in 2022-23, which resulted in the final recommendations. The goal of the study was to determine any intersection improvements that could be implemented to enhance the safety of road users, improve pedestrian and bicyclist access on both sides of the highway and facilitate efficient movement through the corridor. During the corridor study, outreach with the community and traffic analysis were two of the tools used to help determine the above recommendations.
