MnDOT evaluates all projects to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Pedestrian user components can include, but are not limited to adding curb cuts, truncated domes and accessible pedestrian signals. Read about MnDOT's transition plan to comply with the ADA.
Specifics to this Hwy 210 project
- Update pedestrian approaches, crossings
- Install new signal system at Highland Scenic Dr. (Co. Rd. 48) and restripe the crossing
Note: The city of Baxter has completed extensive pedestrian walks and bicycle connections along the Hwy 210 corridor and frontage road system between Baxter Dr. and Knollwood Dr. includes crosswalks and pedestrian signals.
