About this project
MnDOT conducted a transportation study in 2017 that combined input from the City of Worthington, local residents, businesses, and other project stakeholders to arrive at roadway concepts reflective of the future transportation needs on Hwy 59 through Worthington. In 2023 additional public input influenced an updated design of the Humiston Ave. segment. Both segments of Hwy 59 (Humiston Ave. and Oxford St.) will be reconstructed in 2027 and 2028.
