Since 2013, MnDOT has been interviewing businesses to get feedback and better understand their specific freight transportation requirements as part of the manufacturers’ perspectives projects.

Freight corridor studies
MnDOT has taken steps to further integrate freight into corridor planning by including detailed data analyses of business locations and truck travel patterns. This approach identifies key clusters of freight activity and summarizes the key freight issues for those areas.
