Hwy 60 traffic will travel in single lanes beginning May 12 and a four-way stop sign will be in place.
When construction occurs on the east side of the intersection, 3rd St. NE will remain open.
Once work is completed on the east side of the intersection, crews will start working on the west side of the intersection, and 3rd St. NE will close west of the intersection and vehicles will be detoured. The schedule will be announced through project email updates once determined.
Motorists going east on 3rd St. NE: Turn left (north) on Central Ave., turn right (east) on Hwy 60, go right (south) to continue on Hwy 60 and then turn left (east) to reach 3rd St. NE.
Motorists going west on 3rd St. NE: Turn right (north) on Hwy 60 (1st Ave. NE), turn left (west) to continue on Hwy 60, turn left (south) on Central Ave. and then turn right (west) to reach 3rd St. NE.
